SNOW CLOSING

Inclement Weather Notice/Alert

Inclement weather will soon be upon us. In an effort to simplify the notification procedure for the closing of the Senior Center on bad weather days, please be advised that if the Oxford Area School District is closed or on any delay, the Senior Center will also be closed.

Please check the television or radio stations to see if the school district is closed.

Make it a SAFE winter. Don't take chances with inclement weather.

ALTERNATE MEAL CHOICE

We now offer you a choice of two meals when you sign up to have lunch with us. The choices are the usual Hot meal and the alternate meal is a Cold meal.

The alternate meal will either be a salad or sandwich with side items fulfilling the 1/3 RDA guidelines for vitamin and nutrition content.

As always, these meals are provided by the Chester County Department of Aging with a donation request if possible.

Take-Home Alternate Meal Choice

The Chester County Department of Aging is revising the "removal of food" policy from Senior Centers as follows:

If congregate meal participants would like to take home an alternate choice meal, they may now do so. Congregate meal participants may order two meals per day. You may consume the hot meal from the regular menu at the Center and order the alternate (cold) meal to take home with you for dinner. The same requested donation of $1.50 pertains to each meal.
