Classes are open to all ages!!

Computer Class Schedule

Oxford Area Senior Center offers computer classes unlike anywhere else. Our goal is to provide hands-on and detailed instruction in a non-intimidating and patient environment. All class participants are encouraged to ask questions. Each student receives a class manual to keep for future reference. No tests are given.

The classes are offered September thru July. For a complete outline of courses please stop by and pick up a Computer Class Course Description or click here to go to the Computer Home Page. If you are interested in a subject we do not have listed, please call us with your idea. We will add new classes as interest indicates.

Registration is important so that we know we have enough students to run the class and we need to prepare enough materials for each student. Class size is limited to 10, so register early to reserve your spot.

June, July, August 2008

I would like to offer classes over the summer as one session classes. These classes would be a single session for only 1 or 1 ½ hour duration. Costs would be $10 per class. Please call me with suggestions on topics you would be interested in attending. Some suggestions are listed below:

  • Setting up Outlook Express, Outlook or Windows Mail to receive email.
  • Internet Job Search
  • What are PDF files and how to create.
  • Computer Maintenance Tips

We will again offer our free summer classes. They are How to Choose an Internet Provider, Meet the Instructor, and How to Buy a Computer.

I need your ideas to create classes that are of interest to you. Please call, email or stop by with your suggestions.

Thank You,
Colleen A. Owens
